Our Story

We met through our shared love of health and wellness and connected instantly — comparing notes on everything from skincare and food to training and nervous system support. We had the same values and the same curiosity, and we'd both spent years taking care of our health seriously.

That same curiosity is what eventually pushed us to look deeper into our own health.

For years, each of us dealt with symptoms that doctors dismissed as normal — fatigue, bloating, brain fog, anxiety, chronic pain, weight that wouldn't budge. We were told it was stress, or age, or hormones, and that we should learn to live with it. We didn't accept that. We turned to functional lab testing to find out what was actually going on.

For Elana, this wasn't new territory. She's been using functional lab testing for 13 years and has seen, over and over, what it reveals that standard bloodwork misses. The results gave us the clear, specific answers years of appointments hadn't — and once we understood the root causes, we finally knew what to change.

Today, in our 40s, we feel healthier and stronger than we did in our 20s.

That's what Non Toxic Be is built on. If you've been doing the "right" things — eating well, working out, trying to sleep — and still don't feel like yourself, it's usually because no one has looked at the whole picture. How you eat, sleep, move, handle stress, and what you're exposed to at home all affect each other. So we look at all of it and build a plan around the whole you — with functional lab testing when you want the deeper answers, or, if you're not ready for that yet, starting with movement, nutrition, supplementation, sleep, and nervous system support. When those pieces finally work together, the body changes — more energy, better sleep, less inflammation, and the body composition women have often spent years chasing. Not a template. Not a supplement list. A path that's actually yours.

Elana

Elana is a functional medicine practitioner, nutritionist, and personal trainer with over 14 years of experience helping women feel stronger, healthier, and more at home in their bodies. Her approach is simple: find the actual cause, not the closest label, and build a plan that fits real life — training, nutrition, labs, and the day-to-day habits that tie them together.
